I love this version. Bechamel makes it so creamy and it reminds me of lasagna with bechamel. I’ve had it both ways and love either way. Absolutely delicious 🤤

Best chocolate cake I have ever made. I did vanilla icing. But I have made this chocolate icing and it is also the best I have ever had.

Hi Sheri! Yes this is a banana cake, but since we’re doing it in a rectangle pan, I refer to them as bars as it’s square slices, more-so shaped like bars. I definitely wouldn’t pick them up and eat like a cookie bar. You can call them slices if you prefer 🙂
